EM-26 Processing by Kodak

Post by Regular8 »

I still have several Type G cartridges for EM-26 processing in Super 8 and went to my local Kodak dealer and their listing shows Etkachrome Super 8 processing yet for $7.69. Are they still processing EM-26 in Switzerland yet? I have been told that Yale in California is the only one doing this processing once a month now.

As much as I know, Ektachrome in moving pictures was specially designed for TV studios that could process these films themselves to get a faster turnaround, Kodak themselves never processed them, so I guess sending them 'back to Kodak' actually meant sending them to an independent lab. Kodak Switzerland for a fact never processed Ektachrome.
