I dont know if it's been discussed but can the Cannon scoopic 16mm camera be converted to Super 16?

I think I read no, because the fixed lens is too difficult to move. Not sure though.

You can however design a hard matt using the behind the lens filter.
Although this may not be super 16, you can control the aspect ratio somewhat.
