Beaulieu! Who knows how to rig a battery?

I have a 2008. It does not have the traditional three leads. It has a positive nib in the middle and one lead in the side of the battery chamber. I'm no electrician, but I am willing to take a shock. So if anyone has some time to tell me how to rig a battery I'd be quite grateful. Thanks.

You need 4.8V (4 nicads or nimhs) and attach the positive to the centre contact and the neg to the outer. The auto iris won't work and I'm not sure about the meter but the camera should run.
