what camera to use?

Hi, Im going to make my first film on super 8 and was wondering what camera would be better to use from nalcom ftl1000 and a chinon 612xl. thx for ur help

The Chinon has far better glass, you'd get a sharper picture from it. I have the non-XL version of the camera, and the image quality is superb.

I also have a chinon 612xl and I think it's a very good camera. Suprisingly even the eyecup is exist in my camera which is rare among chinons. But forget the eyecup, it's not important - what is important, that chinon cameras are good quality cameras!
So, I have no information about the other one, but it seems to me that your chinon is the best decision.
