Been doing a little cleaning on the ftp server

Post by Andreas Wideroe »

Just wanted to let you know I've been doing a little cleaning in the ftp upload archives and moved all videos to a new subdirectories.

ftp.filmshooting.com/upload/video/

01/08/2003 11:00 Directory avi (contains .avi files)
01/08/2003 11:02 Directory compressed (.zip, .rar and similare files)
01/08/2003 11:01 Directory dv (contains .dv files)
01/08/2003 11:01 Directory m1v (contains .m1v files - these are often mpg files)
01/08/2003 11:00 Directory mov (.mov and quicktime files)
01/08/2003 11:01 Directory mp4 (mp4 files)
01/08/2003 11:00 Directory mpg (mpg files)
01/08/2003 10:57 Directory wmv (windows media files)

This will ofcourse mean any direct links to files here won't work and needs to be updated. The reason why I did this was that the whole list got really big and messy.

Hope you don't mind a little tidyness

Groan.

I hope the .mpg section grows and grows.

Why the m1v section? They are just silent mpgs

I know Michael, but I thought it would look more clean then. We'll see how it goes and maybe do some restructuring later on.

Have a good one!

That's fine, thanks Andreas.

My web site has been updated with the new addresses:

http://www.16mmoviemaking.com/my_movies.htm

I tried to explain what they all are under a link to each of them. Some of this stuff could be weeded out I think.

There are links there to two other places here where there are even more movies to watch.

Thank you very much for allowing all these uploads and downloads. We are becoming international multimedia film communications specialists thanks to your help.

You're absolutely right S8Booster! I forgot to set the correct permissions on the video folder. Things should work now.

Sorry!

NoPro.

I just put it in the Video folder.
You can drop it into the .mov folder if you like.
I do not think I am allowed to do that.
