Hiya all!!
Im thinkin' of buying a beaulieu camera probably a 2008...i have some questions.
1) how much are 2008s worth and how much should i expect to pay?
2)is the ground glass focussing a lot better than using traditional split image(as on my Nizo)
3)does it do 24 fps?
4)can u still get hold of the battery packs and the charger, or do u have to get old ones renewed? cheers guys
any beauliie users feel free to post useful comments as well.

1) 100-300 USD. Depends alot on condition and how much addtional money needs to be put in to get back to good order.
2) Yes, way better
3) Yes, the camera does 2-50 fps and is adjustable with the speed dial.
4) Yes, a new battery is available for the 2008. Also original batteries can be recelled or you can even make an external long lasting battery pack. Figure to put in at least 100 USD toward a newer battery.

Hi, recommend you get a 4008 instead this has a 7.2v batt instead of a 4.8v batt fitted to the 2008,if your heart is set on a 2008 make sure it comes with a lens, put money aside and have the camera serviced by a Beaulieu service agent...

Give Mike at American Hero a call...

Mike over at American Hero here in L.A. is a good source for Beaulieu experience. I saw about six 4008 for sale there and some other models too.

I was thinking about getting and he gave me some good advice about their quirks regarding power.
