Digital Slr?

Post by casonova197 »

Ive heard about these new cameras thas been out for a while. Does anyone know if these things is good for practice. Atleast to get the same exposure before shooting any rolls on s-8? Or if the exposure isnt correct I should just I should just stick with film. Im thinking of buying an external meter to run with these for certain rehearsal shots if they can measure up. Any advice would help. Thanks

Welcome to 2005 :D

Bsasically, yes - you can of course set a digital camera to the same iso, and use it as ane xternal meter. A very good one, since the histogram will give you a perfect reading. Perhaps the same iso won't work since I think few digital cameras go below ISO 100, but that would be a simple calculation to adapt the settings. Again, the histogram would be your perfect exposure meter!
have fun!
