Hey, I have a friend who has a Sankyo XL-620 Supertronic and I think they double the manuals for the 420 and 620. I'll have to contact him but maybe I can send you a copy of the manual, if you don't find one.

My first camera was a Sankyo XL-600 and it always worked great for me. Good features for a beginner's camera. I think that the Sankyos get a bad rap because they sometimes look cheap (not necessarily the Supertronics, which have good lines), but the innards seem to be adequate, at least on my model.

I actually love the way my XL-600 "looks." It really has a cheesy iconic "SUPER 8 CAMERA" look and feel to it and I often use it as a prop camera in my films whenever I need to show someone "shooting film." It has served me well.

If I get the manual, I'll drop you a PM.

Tim
