Here is an updated video with the windows adjusted a bit. I also ran the machine by itself (without the window of the software) after the video. It starts at apprx 4 min 30 seconds.
I explained in the video that the settings of exposure and sensor were set at 11:00
Please explain to me why the machine just skips a bunch of frames at 3 min 45 seconds and how to adjust the tension clip without adjusting the screw.

I'm not going to discuss this on this forum any more. This forum is not the MovieStuff help line. I am happy to assist you but, if you wish to receive customer support, call me at 830-966-4664 like any other customer. It is inefficient and a waste of time to try and explain things in writing here when the instructions are in writing already. Go to my website at http://www.moviestuff.tv and follow the instructions link to the instructions for your unit. The section on how to set the tension clip is the last thing on the Retro-8 Pro set up page. There is a picture of how to do it, as well. Regarding how to set the tension clip, the sensor knob and anything else that you wish to cover, I will be happy to to over that on the phone with you. You can even send me your preferred number and I will be happy to call you at my expense.

My best,
Roger

Thank you to everyone who messaged me with helpful tips. The problem had nothing to do with the tension clip. I really knew it couldn't get much tighter.
The problem was with the sensor knob. Once I used your ideas and tips I managed to transfer 1,000 ft today that was smooth. Yeah!

Again I really appreciate everyone's help.

It was never implied that it should be tighter but that it should be adjusted properly. As noted via a photo in the instructions, and as I explained several times in the past, you can not adjust the clip properly with film on the unit. Indeed, tightening or loosening the screw is not how you should increase or decrease tension and doing so repeatedly can damage the threads and over-tightening as you are seen doing in your posted YouTube video can also damage your customer's film.

I'm glad the unit is working for you but proper use of the sensor knob is not only in the instructions but is something that I attempted to explain to you several times in the past. Instead of accepting my instruction as a sincere attempt to assist, you instead accused me of "blaming the user" on this forum. But, as I mentioned previously, I can not pretend that you are doing it correctly and also help you solve the problem.

Help has always been available, Linda, and all you have to do is call. So your implication that you had to come to this forum to get help from members is a bit disingenuous. If you were really interested in solving problems, you would have called me long ago asking for help instead of demanding a refund. As such, your true purpose of posting on this forum is pretty obvious. More to the point, why you would choose to believe advice from people on this forum and not believe the person that designed the unit is beyond me but that's the choice you've made, though it does little to speed the plow for your cause. However, at the risk of being accused of "blaming the user", I do note the irony that user error turned out to be the problem, after all. ;)

If you are sincere in needing further assistance, I am happy to help you any time. Call me when convenient or forward a number and I will be happy to call you at my expense.

My best,
Roger Evans
