Thanks. I'm also 100%:ly satisfied for results.CToTheH wrote:8)
These are by far the most impressive super 8 images I have ever seen. Better than "Sleep Always" and possibly better than " am Josh Polanski's brother".
Transfer has been done by Anced Filmtechnic, by their Rank Cintel filmscanner.CToTheH wrote:I'm going to have to get my hands on some neg film ASAP. Reversal just doesn't cut it (except for k40).
I have a couple of questions though:
How exactly did you transfer the footage? This couldn't be a mirror box, it's too good.
I haven't shot Vision-stock without pressure plate, but lots of other stocks with the same camera, pressure plate makes the best result, that's a fact.CToTheH wrote:Was the pressure plate nesesary since you were using the 1014xls?
Did you do any test shooting without the pressure plate?
Canon 814/1014XL-S do it, 310xl don't, other Canon models works the best with external exposure meter.CToTheH wrote:Will the Canon 814xls/814/310xl comply with Vision2 stock at 200t and 500t?
Andec did processing with ultrasonic cleaning and films were transfered using rank equipment.CToTheH wrote:Where did you get the processing done? and do you think you'd get significantly better quality if you would have gotten a scanned transfer (rank)?
They outsource the transfer to AVP in Munich. The best transfer house for Super8. It´s just a package deal including the shipping et al. Nothing bad or expensive with that. But if you happen to live in Munich you can supervise the timing.jukkasil wrote: Transfer has been done by Anced Filmtechnic, by their Rank Cintel filmscanner.
Thanks for information. They did very good job, even I had a lot of different kind of material.mathis wrote:They outsource the transfer to AVP in Munich. The best transfer house for Super8. Can you put the soundtrack on a webpage, too?! Pleaaassse! ;)jukkasil wrote:I'm a big E.M fan and have composed that kind of songs before for my old Kivikyy-project, so let see what I'll manage to compose to this new film project.mathis wrote:I´m very curious! Sorry, I haven't done it yet. Have to start composing soon.jpolzfuss wrote:Can you put the soundtrack on a webpage, too?!
