Uhh... I'm not sure how replacing the spring drive with an electric motor would magically improve the optics. I guess for me price is the main issue, and at $700 seems like a good price (but it is the very most I would consider paying for it).
I don't shoot a lot of 16mm, but if I had a k3 with electric motor.....
Maybe you could offer a package with a super 16 gate too.
The link you sent about the super 16 gate seems a little steep, considering they are just filing the side off (or is there more too it than that?).
You just have to guess the framing in the viewfinder I presume?
Anyway the s16 thing is not what this thread is about.
So the motor sound great and I hope it turns out well for you.
