I don't see why you could not participate in the festival. Heck, there are many other films out there. Not only Cinevia.

If you used paypal and had the money come from a creditcard you can also notify the creditcard company who can and will undo the payment to Paypal. Paypal will then undo the payment to the other party as they are short of the money.

But you might try to get some answers from the President for the sales departement. Possibly you can save some hassle when they decide to use the Paypal refund option from their side...

Maybe they (the Presidents) should put such a message on their english language website. Or route the mail to the right person (adapting the webform).

I.e. instead of getting obnocious and blaming the visitors or costumers (sic!, try this in google) for these stupid thoughts that they can use english on an english language webpage.

Also it is common business practice to return money to senders who sent it when it is unwanted or no service or goods are delivered.

agree somewhat with aj about the "attitude" of the statement.

probably bad translation - like auto trans but at first glance it seems like us/customers we are the/a problem.

appreciate their efforts to offer us a proper k40 replaceatopr thougg!
