You can buy a few more XL shirts if you want. I think 16 have been spoken for and I had to order 24. I am ordering five 3XL for myself to pad it out so for the next year all you'll see me in is PTC tee shirts but I was jokingly thinking that Kodak ought to give us a pinch or maybe we should send the head super 8 guy at Kodak a shirt. My thinking has been, we ought to have a great tee shirt for this project.

Im trying to find a leggy blond to pose for a pic when the tee shirts are done. Maybe we can send it out with the PR!!!

Flatwood, you are the man. Thanks A LOT for taking on all of the work on this. I will take a couple of extras if they go unclaimed but I'll give everyone involved a chance to grab one once they become available. Keep me informed.

Flatwood, I would like to add 1 more Black XL..
Gosh.. been having a shitty mood these days... need to have something to cheer myself up! :(

make it 3 XL black myself instead of 2.

Thanks cowboy!

By the way, how big is the "XL" one? Is it gonna be US size?

Hmmmm. I would have to assume so, yes, certainly.

You sure did a great job on the logo. Forget the crappy mood. Life will prove to be very short and theres no point in wasting any of it being less than positive.

it's funny when people say life is short, because actually it's the longest thing you'll ever do.

so I finally got to shoot my 10ft today. MAN, it goes quick!! Hopefully my stuff won't be too boring, but it was only about 5 shots of hot rod stuff. Shot it with my Minolta XL601, 18fps, manual exposure. Aside from the "Pass The Cart" cartridge I took my last 9 carts of K40 to the show with the intention of finishing off all 9 with my Nikon R10, and I really tried. But I ended up only using 5 of them...so, cool! I still have 4 left! So, there's a mix of Minolta and Nikon photos below.

p.s. i'm a dork.

p.s.s. oh yeah, I forgot to mention...as I was shooting one of my shots today, the camera whirring away, I hear a lady say to her kid "do you want to look inside this one? Okay, let's wait until he finishes videotaping." dumb broad. Fortunately, 20 minutes later I'm walking around with the Nikon in my hand and some guy yells out from across the way "super8! Man, I haven't seen that in a while!" Then just as I was leaving another guy asked "hey is that 16mm or 8?" So, at least 2 people out of the 2000+ in attendance recognized that it was NOT a video camera.
For those of you who are interested, here's a link to the show's site. It looks like they haven't loaded the official photos yet, but I'm sure they'll be up soon: http://www.good-guys.com/events/photos. ... ntID=DMN06

Feel free to laugh at me for the way I'm operating the tripod in the first shot, I was in a rush.

You have the same tripod legs I do.. the dolly looks pretty similar also, but I usually walk alongside mine.

-UPDATE-

I just sent off Cart#5 to audadvnc. Sorry for the delay! audadvnc, you should have it in a few days.

I also sent off my five carts from the hot rod show and they're on their way to Dwaynes. I'll post clips in a new thread when I get the footage transferred.

Great idea. If that actually happens I'd volunteer to put something together, unless somebody else actually has less free time than me

jusetan, love the pics....is she being a magician? I'm really looking forward to seeing your footage. Also, I might have asked this before, but will we be able to see the full-length version of "Stuntman" any time soon?

Keep up the good work everybody!

what, no one noticed the hand-made sand bag?

yeah, that's a great sturdy tripod, I've used the newer model of this one and it is much improved.. the clasps are better and also the sliders to spread the legs have three 'lock' positions which makes it easier to level. (right now i have three sharpie marks for those level positions).

The dolly wheels are the GS-1 glideshot wheels (i think that's the model). board/handle/track from home depot.

VIDWERK:
Good guess, yes, High park.

Bumped into that girl in the park, she was trying to build her portfolio up and was doing a showcase & photoshoot. I was inspired/intrigued by her so I storyboarded up some sketches, timed them all out, made some revisions then shot it.

About STUNTMAN:
I haven't got an official release made yet, because I want to include more special features, but if you're interested in a pre-release of Stuntman or Rage of Silence PM me. They're $15CDN + shipping.
