Alright! Got mine shot this weekend. Made a small miscalculation with my timing because of a high-speed shot, and think I ran over by 1-2 feet. I'll make a note of it on the camera report sheet. Sorry!

I've also got a disposable camera I'm going to include along with the film for people to shoot some production stills with as it tours with the cart.

I'm sending to Tlatosmd in Hamburg, Germany next.
Could someone PM me with his address so I can set that up?

Thanks again for the opportunity,

okay team....I'm sorry for, and embarassed about my delay in shooting my 10ft. This coming Sunday is the big day though! The big annual Hot Rod show at the local fairgrounds is happening all weekend and I'm going to roll my 10ft. there.
Here's an idea of what last year looked like (digital cam pics): Image
There should be a lot of good color going on at the show, so the K40 should be just right.

Does anybody want to give me any suggestions as to what they'd like to see shot? I'm open! I was thinking about making my focus on wild paint jobs, but if anybody has any other ideas, let me know.

I'm also planning on using my remaining 9 carts of K40 (personal stock) at this event. I'm going to try recording sound with my camcorder and sync it up to the K40. They're going to have a band so that should be a good test. Anyway....should be fun!

The colors should be awesome. Great idea. Just add a few car babes and you've got it made in the shade!!! Is that a 54 Buick Roadmaster in the 1st photo???

T-SHIRT UPDATE

Im set to order the t-shirts tonight or tomorrow. Speak now or forever hold your peace!!!

Image

We have chosen Hanes Beefy-T 100% cotton tees over Jerzees and that other one. Thick, heavy duty cotton tee shirts, roomy. I like them and you will too, I think. We've decided to have them double printed for ink density.

I need to figure out the shipping on them. She'll let me know when I place the order how much $$ I need to get to her. I'll cover it up front and distribute them. This promises to be a very nice commemorative tee shirt for us all.

Anyway, anybody else wants to get in on this holler up very soon with size and color - white or black.

This is great work Flatwood... a brilliant addition to the project... got a feeling the T shirts will be out before the film is finished... but part of the charm of Pass The Cart is the length of time it'll take. (gotta use those pre-paid envelopes before August 8O )

Well, I was hoping to shoot a neo-kitsch Cherry Blossom Tidewater extravaganza this weekend, but no film. And my daughter's got the flu anyhow. Maybe I can catch a Presidential motorcade (saw Dick Cheney's on Tuesday), complete with 6 leading motorcycles and Keystone Kops sniper wagon?

Do I feel stupid. I just realized we should have tried to find a sponsor to offset some of the tee shirt cost. If they havent started printing them yet its still a possibility. I wonder who we should approach about putting their logo on the back of the shirt????

Well, probably a good idea, but I'm sick of everything being branded with some advertiser's name and image.

Almost everything seems to be "logo-ized" these days so this shirt will be refreshing in that it's about us--not some dopey "sponsor."

I'm willing to help defer more of the cost if it's a problem.
