Wow . . id forgoton about this post. Funny when a topic you started a while ago comes back up like this. Thanks though guys, Id almost forgotton about the whole filter slot problem as the film im shooting this month with my R-10 is Black and White!

Woo Hoo, no need to worry!!! :D

I will soon though, when I go back to using good ol' color . .

Anyway many thanks for the tips guys. As soon as one of my tests comes back from cinelab (if it gets there, it may have been lost in the post  )
I'll post a clip on the forum here!

i think the price you paid for this camera, even with a minor fault is cheap..
in stores in london crap chinon and sankyos,go for more money..
these cameras do have various quirks, but the lens is fantastic..
your problem is probably the connection between batt pack and camera contacts..i use a little velcro, to pad it out a little..the pack tends to move around a little...also clean all contacts properly..
most super 8 filter keys will fit this..model..but credit card worked for me..
i shoot and sometimes i score

Its the cruel truth chachi, and the reason im gonna move to the US one day soon

Im guessing from the ammount of people that are interested in the R-10s that i had a good find on ebay when i got mine. Im a little worried that my test footage that I sent to cinelab in boston has got lost in the post though . . . so i just hope its working ok :?
