Well, either my question got covered up by an off-topic discussion, or no one knows the answer....

Does anyone have any idea what size of filters the Ewa Mattebox uses?

Whenever I get access to a decent shop again I plan on doing this myself. With the right tools it should be rather easy to machine a nice rod system out of aluminum. I would also like to make a follow focus, but am not sure if I want to build my own Matte box or try and find one to use with it.
I personnaly think that EWA compendium is shit ( I should not tell you that since I'll probably want to sell mine but ... ). I might build my own from an old photographic chamber.
what are the negative aspects of the EWA compendium?
