I've done up to about a minute superimposing, and it worked just fine. I did a take off of the "MGM" logo, putting my brother in the circle instead of a lion...I first filmed the artwork with the center black, then backwound the film, and filmed my brother against a black background...I had to be careful aligning the two shots, but it worked good!
