Here we go. That tongue I have marked with the blue arrow is bent. It should stretch into the sprocket drum’s recess.

The loop formers have such tongues as well, they belong back behind the film in the drum recesses. The automatic threading depends on these measures to function safely. It was and still is one of the advantages of the Paillard-Bolex-H camera.

You don’t need to spend 300 for that. Bend the tongue away with a wooden stick (to the right side in the picture).
