I did a test not too long ago, and I found that not only does it seem to tolerate overexposure more than underexposure, it can take a full stop of it. Admittedly, the end result is a little washed out, but still quite usable.
For me, the sweet spot seems to be goosing it by 1/2-1/3 stop, same as they suggest you do with Spectra's V50D.
