If you can bear buying from Kahl this seems a bit likewise
So are there problems with Kahl? Are they manufacturing their own stocks or cutting up Kodak?

Kahl's black and white film is ORWO - the only other manufacturer of black and white motion picture camera negative film in the world. Their colour film is varied. Their 100d colour reversal is of course Kodak. Their colour neg DS8 is Fuji. Their 50d colour reversal is old Agfa film it is believed. Kahl are a very difficult company to deal with however.

I had only the best experiences with Kahl; they are very fast and reliable. I guess there is some ups and downs with every company - I had my bad moments with Wittner ...

Don't forget Foma which manufactures Fomapan R100 for DS8, 16, Standard 8 as well as home processing kits.

Wittner also offers this film in "metterware" for Super8. It's a very nice B/W reversal film.

naturally I wasn't forgetting Foma. That is why I described ORWO as the only other manufacturer of NEGATIVE bw film.

The only downside is that you will never be able to project it. It must be telecined.
Pull that old movie camera out of the closet! I'm sure it's hungry for some film!
