It makes me think about: are the lots of chemicals, some very dangerous, in industrial film cement, only to make you think that is impossible to make your own cement? METHANOL, for instance: it takes no reaction on film base. I guess that is a trick of the tail.

Well, only acetone and clean film base works, melt and bond film as industrial cement.

If you are thinking of using nail polish remover consider using cheap nail polish.
