I like the packaging. It is a little spendy, but I love Velia 50D enough for the occasional order. Once the S8 is ready, i'd like to grab a roll of DS8, 16mm, 2-4 rolls of S8. Yummy!

According to the history text there we have to thank GKfilm for saving the S8 format while he decided, in 2004, to supply us with new film. What have done with S8 gear in the mean time? :) Cannot be any thing useful.

So obviosly they are able to slit, perf, load ect... Maybe after they get rolling they can get into more film stocks? I'd love to shoot some negs in DS8 if they are capable of perfing it. Like 50D, 500T, or even eterna 160T. That would take the format up another level, since DS8 is so much sharper and steadier than S8... Just there are really limited stocks for DS8 right now. 100D, and it's the best super 8 frames I have seen. Imagine how the V2 stocks would look.
