The errors are more design quirks than usage-critical errors. We did our best with the disc and I am proud of the result, considering the very low budget and fast turnaround.

Most of these projects never even get finished. We are half way through the second project and taking super-8 filmmaking all over the festival circuit and internet.

Of course, we aim to improve. If there is a DVD product of Citizen Super-8 I would hope that this time we get it perfect.

I just carefully snapped the Criterion Edition copy of Black Narcisus into it's DVD case and drove to the rental shop to return it.

I see the case on the passenger seat and the disc had slipped off it's mooring hub, slid to the bottom of the case. Thankfully it wasn't scratched, yet.

I can well imagine it's condition had it been handed over to the tender mercys of clerks, as yet gone postal.

What next?!

And, Mr npcoombs, thank you for your kind offer of a replacement disc of the Super-8 Cities -- very kind.
