Black and white Tri-X can be processed into B&W positives with the right kit. We used to do it a long time ago when making stills using color seperations and slide projectors. What a blast.

Tim,

I have a Bauer and a Minolta slide carrier for Super 8 cameras, you're welcome to borrow them if you can wait about 2 weeks as they're on a container ship floating around the North Atlantic at the moment. You can usually find them on Ebay with a set of slides, things like a keyhole or love heart cutout. You could try making one though with a Cokin filter holder.

Thanks, hassan, for the offer to borrow the slide holders and the other info as well. I think I'll be able to find something to use around town somewhere. Or maybe on ebay, as you suggested.
