Are the images better? I personally hate the polyester film - I have some sound film prints in Polyester, and they melt, get scrunched up in my projector and sratch very easily.
If only Fuji would buy Kodachrome from Kodak and start processing it and put a soundstripe on the film as standard....Aahhh... dream on Lucas!

Yes, It's debatable whether it is sharper than super 8. What I like about it is the Fujichrome colours, the unlimited backwinding, and the thinner polyester base which is tougher. Never had any problems that you mentioned.
Would it be good if Fuji makes super 8 film and offer post striping service after processing?!?
