£15, that's pretty good... cheaper than buying and processing here in the uk!

As much as I know, you can also get Fuji Single8 stock from Frank Bruinsma, either that or he has a German address for that on his site.

Hi

I have recently found my Dad's old Fujica Single 8 P400. I am thinking about using it to film some performances. Does any one have and comments about this camera? I have never used this type of camera before and would be glad of any advice. Also i am not sure it is fully functioning, anybody know a good place to take it to see if it is worth buying film etc?

Thanks.

Hi!

Data:
http://super8wiki.com/index.php/Fujica_P400
http://www.super8data.com/database/came ... a_p400.htm

Japanese manual:
http://page.freett.com/library1/p400/p400.html

According to the data it's a "middle class" camera: limited zoom-range, only 18fps, but already some of the features from the better cameras (sync sound socket, ...).

When you do live outside of Europe, you should get your film from Retro8 (Japan). In Europe try Super8 Reversal Lab (Netherlands), Wittner (Germany) and Jovanovic (Germany).

When you want to get your camera checked before shooting, you should state your actual position on this planet - or simply take a look at this list: http://super8wiki.com/index.php/Categor ... nd_Service
