How can it be out off stock if the replacing film is only available to some for testing and not to the public?
Kind regards,

don't know. the woman always asks me how i want it shipped, and says "fed ex, ups, ...?" and i say (unless i'm in a hurry) "whatever is cheapest." and she says, "DHL 2nd day? Should be free..." and i say, "yep, that's perfect."

then they put my small order of film in the largest refrigerator box they can find with some of those air bubbles and ship it right out.

don't know. i asked her on the phone for test carts of 64t as well, but she said no and told me that the new stock would be available next month.

I ordered 8 on the 15th... I don't get free shipping, either. UPS Ground was $3.50 or so - not too bad... it usually takes 2-3 days from the Lawrenceville, GA warehouse. However, my friend who ordered 8 carts yesterday said that Kodak told him that warehouse was out and it would be shipped from NY... which will take another day or two. Seems like the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. Nevertheless, I think they will still have some for a few more weeks. I used less than expected for my current project, so I will have a total of 10 carts to play with.

Hilarious that was my film being held in Vancouver. I ordered some but
suddenly got very busy with work and was unable to pick them up. So I
got the film delievered and it arrived yesterday. 20 cartridges now fill my
fridge for my summer film.

Well, Kodak Canada doesn't seem to think they'll get anymore K-40, So I just bought 10 rolls from Dwayne's.. Now I have 17 K-40 stockpiled!

I figured even though Dwayne's carts are not process paid, after paying $11.50/cart and $9usd for processing @ Dwayne's the total cost is only $24.96cdn which is cheaper then what Kodak Canada quoted me before taxes and shipping. Also, the Shipping on 10 carts to Canada was only $6.50usd by air mail.

Dwayne's also assured me that they would continue to process this stuff well into the future, so I need not be in any hurry to shoot it all anytime soon..

Anyhow, Thats it for me, its all 64T from here on in I guess..

Is it possible for you Canadians to order from the US Kodak number? Or possibly have it shipped to someone in the US? They still have it here.

The 1-800-621-3456 number automatically directs you to the closest office.

The nice lady on the phone here at Kodak Canada told me they were out of K-40 and were not getting anymore, she then re-directed my call to Kodak in NY State where another friendly lady advised me that Kodak USA does not ship to Canada. I would have had to have it sent to an address in the USA and then shipped to Canada. That would cost more or about the same but with definatly more hassles then just buying from Dwayne's a place that will process the film for at least the next year or two anyway.

Also, Kodak USA does not sell Process paid carts, which is what I was trying to buy here in Canada from Kodak. But alas, I have had some k-40 film developed at Dwayne's and was happy with the results, so I'll gladly pay $9usd to have my film processed by them and with no apparent deadlines at that! I could have these 10carts last 2years If need be, the other 7 all have mailers so they'll get processed sooner..

There's still k40 left in the Netherlands. For anybody who's interested/lives nearby or whatever, you can order online from this guy as well:

I also found this site, maybe they have some left:
