Best chance for additional films are films that are already used in another format (e.g., 16mm, 35mm).

How expensive to Kodak can be the releasing of Ektachrome E-family slide stocks for Motion picture films?

Film is a persishable item. What doesn't get sold in a reasonable amount of time is wasted. Having too many stocks just adds to inventory and waste, so choosing the right ones to offer is important.

How much longer will I be able to get my film processed at Walmart? Because they offer K-14 processing for only 5 dollars a reel.

You might want to call Walmart to find that out. The $5 processing fee is a fluke, don't use it as your baseline for future costs.

I'd venture to say K40 processing at Walmart will be available until Dwayne's stops processing it.

Our local Walmart can't be doing much in the kodachrome realm, there hasn't been a single roll of kodachrome on the shelf for years now. I mail order K40, Kodachrome 64 color slide and Elite Chrome 100 slide film all the time and drop the rolls of at Walmart for processing. Turn around for the Elite Chrome is about 7-8 working days, 9-10 working days for any Kodachrome emulsion (35mm slides or Super 8.)

Further, I may be only one of a handful in our community that still shoots kodackrome or elitechrome on a regulat bassis but Walmart always delivers. I doubt they'll stop providing processing services until Dwayne's dries up.

Question for you all, what emulsion type is Elite Chrome, is Elitechrome an E6 processed film? Our local Walmart has Fuji color processors in house, are they Chrome compatible? Just trying to figure out where the Chrome is being sent to and whether it's a possible indicator for future processing of 64T at Wally World.

I went out to Kodak's website and found the following on 35mm Elite Chrome Color Slide film.

The second to the last last page of the link states process as E6 which leads me to beleive 64T dropoff at Walmart may be possible. This assumption is based upon my experiences dropping off E6 Elite Chrome at Walmart on a regular basis.
