Well you can be a "good guy" but have problems with bad employees, and be such a good guy that you won´t fire your staff because they promise that they will behave better. I know at least 3 who are too nice towards crappy employees, perhaps this is one of his problems?

You can please some of the people all of the time.
And all of the people some of the time.
But you can't pleasel all of the people all of the time.
This is a good rule for most in business.
Pro 8 is just one business....it's not the only one dealing in Super 8. If you don't like them, you can always use another service. But don't be surpriized if it should happen that you're not happy with them either.
We don't have a lot of choices. If we are going to use super 8 as our chossen meidum, then don't be disappointed in those dealers who are involved. They are after all. our only hope of survival.

Yep, that is so true. You can please some of the people all of the time.
And all of the people some of the time.

And some people are pretty much impossible to please for anyone, I remember one client who wasn´t pleased with the quality of my transfer, because he had DVD´s with much better picture.....
Ehh, as in DVD´s he had bought with hollywood productions. I tried to explain to him that 8mm is very small and it is impossible to get the same quality from his films from 1970´s but he was still very unhappy and wanted his money back. Yeah, righ! Try to please this guy if you can!

I had a client that I did a music video for. He sang and played his guitar along with his background music. He was OK but not great!
Anyway, after the shoot. I told him that I'd only charge him $150.00 for editing it and adding in transitions and making up a promotional DVD.
I had problems with my computer and the programs. The programs were not compatibile with the new system. So I had to upgrade. The new upgrades were a nightmare and took me another 2 weeks to process the video. The guy was going out of his way to bug me crazy and wouldn't leave me alone to finish it. He wanted it "Yesterday" and I still had problems with the processing.
He finally said " Just give me the thing the way youve got it, I don't want to wait anymore."
So I did....then he complained about the quality.
He paid me, and then wanted me to make copies of it for free.
Needless to say, he didn't get what he wanted and left town. Now he's working some cruise ship. Seems the DVD was good enough to get him the job.
