Did someone delete the M. Moore thread or am I going blind?

Post by ulrichsd »

Just curious. Posted today, gone tomorrow. I guess it is a little off the topic of super8 filmmaking, but I still think it relates to filmmaking. I mean, I think every filmmaker's views come across some way or another in their work.

I was not trying to start some flame thread, but rather ask the question of whether or not a venue such as the academy awards is the appropriate place for personal opinions. I was assuming people the people on this board are capable of engaging in a rational discussion.

There is a fine auto utensil mechanism on this board which leaves political discussions onto the arenas whereto they belong.

So yes, it is deleted :|

Scott,
The topic started off good and I wasn't planning on removing it, but as always someone drags it more off-topic and start discussing politics and war. Therefore it was locked and "hidden".

Sorry!

Btw: Your vote is counting 86% yes and 13% no with a total of 15 votes.
