As far as I'm concerned John P always has an 'official' Kodak signature on his posts and as such I am entitled to think that he is then representing Kodak when posting on this board, and as such should expect criticism. I feel just a little pissed that he has said that 64t is delayed because 'we' haven't tested and returned results quickly enough. From previous threads, it's apparent that very few people have been offered film to test. Where is the offer from Kodak or John P to ask for a cart of film to test? Alex, as distributor of SmallFormat you would by now have read the article about super 8 and how Kodak tested 300 000 cartdridges prior to release - all I would have liked to see was a proper test and evaluation done before K40 was axed and the release date of 64t adhered to.
No, I didn't miss this topic, but I'm still trying to find something anywhere from Kodak saying that they intend to introduce a new film and would like people to test it.
I can only say I *definitely* did appreciate John's input on the technological going-ons within Kodak. I admit I, too, have complained to him about discontinuing K40 and the official reasons given for it, yet I'd like to make it clear that I've been fully aware it's not his department, so my complaints where rather directed towards Kodak, they were never directed at John as a person or him being here as a technological representative, as he's never been here as a *marketing* representative after all, it always were the latter people that my complaints went out to.

Very well put, but did you mean you definitely "DO" appreciate John's input versus the word "DID". 8O

Well, I'm one of the laggards, I guess. I shot one roll of 64T a few weeks ago, then did nothing until this past weekend when the daytime outdoor temperatures around Dallas finally got down in the semi-bearable range.
I shot the other two rolls that Kodak sent me this past Sunday. I'll process them this coming weekend, and then I'll fill out my Kodak customer evaluation form and send it back in.
I'm sure Kodak is just waiting for my response form...

Well, ahem, let me assume I did, being not a native speaker.
I mean I appreciated it while it lasted and would warmly welcome him back any time.
