Hassan's comment was humorous but reflex was right to remind him of our luck in having JP hang around here.

But you just blew the whole good-natured quality of this discussion with your shrill accusations and indictments. What is up with that? 8O

The idea crossed my mind as i was typing my response to Reflex, and that is what makes it fun :-D
Anyway, I am in a bad mood today because I lost a spring while fixing a camera, and for some reason the word INANE got on my nerves.

It was Reflex use of the word INANE. Very condascending! He should speak for himself. If he feels he is a slave for what a corporation can hand by way of INANE answers, then this is his issue. I thought you were the post modern philosopher here. Amazing that the implications of INANE escaped you. It means that John is a saint and we are a herd. He has to put up with our lousy stupid questions. And when we do not understand, it means that we are stupid not that Kodak is handing us INANE answers.
So you see, I did not start anything. Reflex did!
Amazing you did not see that, or have you decided to actually do away with all rational thinking!

I admit, good points about both the inherent and percieved power differentials imposed on relationships in this forum. But I myself do ask a lot of "inane" questions around here, and in turn, feel kind of lucky when people put up with them and take the time to respond.

Umm... my comment was written with a smile on my face and

at the end.

And I think I said "our" inane questions, me included. Maybe a poor choice of words, but what I meant was that John never seems to tire of answering even the simplest things on every forum I've ever seen him on, and rarely loses his cool when someone gets angry at Kodak.

That's admirable. You seem to be confusing him with the company he works for. He's not a PR guy, so it doesn't seem fair to hold him to task for every failing of EK (and, to be fair, I forget that sometimes - wrote a nasty blast to him just yesterday, but I tried to tone it down afterwards).

Back to the regularly scheduled programming (and sorry for tossing an accidental grenade into the thread)...

Other forums I spend time on: just cinematography.com, although I rarely post there.

I doubt Ms. Zellweger will ever hand me an award of any kind because I do not believe in competition, but in co-operation.

As for Mr. P being one of the best, perhaps he would like to stop blaming us for the delay in the release of 64t and have his company take some of the responsibility.

Hostboard.. but seems like quiet most of the time.
Alex Hostboard... but seems like very quiet all the time.

and 1 computer basic questions
and 1 dog & pets
and 1 for wargame killing survial game
and 1 for spooky / supernatual stories, photos, video

these other 4 using my language. Extremely off topic. Basically 4 of them are one big place for "Cross-over".

I was skimming this topic so I missed Reflex's response, however I thought that Hassan's comment about Mr. Pytlak was unnecessary.

If anything, the Ektachrome 64 not yet on the shelves is because of the slow beta testing going on by us filmmakers, not anthing Mr. Pytlak has or hasn't done.
