Kodak lab in association with SmallFormat Magazine !

Post by Cheezy »

Got one of my Super8 rolls back from Kodak Lausanne and included with my processed film was a 3-fold ad/order brochure from SmallFormat magazine… Funny…

A very wise move. I had suggested a similar idea a while back, that Kodak actually put information about Super-8 forums and Super-8 services in each and every box of Super-8 film they sell.

Could even generate ad revenue.

If this is a sign that Kodak really wants to keep Super8 alive, I'm more than ok with such ideas! :D

BTW, since you are a distributor of Small Format, can you tell me how I can actually pay a 1-year subscription. I bought #1 and they give the price but don't tell how you can pay (card, check, transfer… ?)

I had a few of the small format mini brochures. I pinned them onto bulletin boards in film-friendly places. I suggest doing the same, or passing them along to friends who might be interested.

That's a cool avatar you have, is it a black and white image turned negative, but what camera is that?

I guess we've had a thread about this a few months ago. My guess is it's Switzerland acting independently and responsibly, desperately trying to signal to hobbyists that K40 is getting discontinued as that's what the current English and German issue is about.

Naw, that's just a coincidence.

Super-8 magazines are coming out and it's a great way to spread the word.
