 I was thinking of doing a list of possibility cine owners... only if the bidding goes to £80+

I'm not really helping... i bid for it... but i'll have the last laugh when i take it to Sothebys for £100,000.

Good idea. I'll give you $100 for your Aaton that was "previously owned by Mr. Woody Allen."

Rediculious and silly. Such vain characters to pay this much for this camera (a fine R8 camera) without any proof of authentication of the signature. Just plain stupid!

Post by alan doyle »

in 1989 i met spike milligan at lee international film studios in wembley in london...
we had a chat about home movies and cameras... in the 60s,
he had a eumig and a bauer 88 standard 8 cameras..
he then moved up to super8..
peter sellers, who was very competitive with spike, then got a leica 8mm,just to outdo spike... he was not happy with the quality so he went to 16mm... bolex, clockwork beaulieu and canon scoopic..
and it showed, sellers films became quite sophisticated and technically better, than a lot of the crap you see in british documentaries..

too the camera on ebay, show me the
provenance,provenance,provenance.....
i shoot and sometimes i score
