Smallville, Austin Powers and Stanley Kubrick

I just saw Episode 1, Season 4 of Smallville last night. In it Tom Welling (Clark Kent) is nude in a cornfield. Since this is network TV his bottom is obscured by vegitation. It's supposed to be a dramatic scene but this bit reminded me of a scene in one of the Austin Powers movies and I started laughing.

And I have heard that Stanley Kubrick used a computer to add similar concealment in Eyes Wide Shut.

I'm pretty sure that was done after he died. Nobody wanted to edit his final cut of the film, so they just put some CG junk in front of the sex.
