Guys, just to remind you, this is a thread about Kodachrome, not Ektachrome.

Up to now, piled Kodachrome stock adds up to 748 units and 22 users (making 34 units in average per user posting in this tread).

In detail, we have:

- 474 cartridges of K40 silent in S8 (average per user: 21.55 cartridges)
- 112 cartridges of K40 Sound in S8 (average per user: 5.09 cartridges)
- 95 cans of K40 aka Cinechrome in R8 (average per user: 4.32 cans)
- 40 cans of 200ft K40 Sound in S8 (average per user: 1.82 cans)
- 7 cartridges of KII silent in S8 (average per user: 0.32 cartridges)
- 3 cartridges of KII Sound in S8 (average per user: 0.14 cartridges)
- 3 cans of K40 in DS8 (average per user: 0.14 cans)
- 31 cans of K25 in DS8 (average per user: 1.41 cans)
- 0 cans of K25 in R8 (average per user: 0 cans)

Still Chachi, what do you mean by 'about 10 NOS sound and silent k40carts'? Do they add to those you mentioned before in your post? And what does NOS mean?

Oh, I did Mojo, 20 carts, but they were all outdating in 1984 or before so they were M4, not EM-26, and couldn't be processed anywhere here in Europe. ;) I was still a bit disappointed though when all I got was 60 Euros for that lot...

None.

I have not used K-40 since last November, and I should have used Vision2 200T instead.

Mojo
BK
Dr_Strange_Love

Ultramarine
Ccortez
Sooper8fan
Lastcoyote
Chachi

Sasounet
Gianni1
Charles8
Dave

Monobath
Studiocarter
Namke
Phil464
JPolzfuß
Angus
Awand/Andreas
Alpha.tango
Etimh/Tim
Cinelys
Super8man

We can use these figures to make up the following developing and trend tables.

Image

Since the above table was a bit unclear on users and units per average user, let's magnify that area a bit...;)

Anyway, these tables should tell us a thing or two. a.) Our averages are going down, especially since the second census. Where are those people who have whole fridges dedicated to Kodachrome, make yourself heard! :o b.) We'd need more units of non-K40 silent if we'd like to even out the field. c.) ummm...

Meh, I know it's not that much a result after three hours of Excel. Whoever wants to can keep up with the tables based on the figures, I'll go on about these plain figures...

8 cartridges of K40 in my fridge (Cost me more than my complete
4008 ZMII !)
And yet, they almost had 15 or 20 of them left at the shop… I just couldn't afford the whole bunch :(

NOS means New Old Stock, as in not opened and old. I just ran down stairs, here are my exact figures. Sorry as they are slightly different from my earlier estimates.

I have:

13 new k40 05/06 in fridge
7 on the way, in the mail
3 k40 sound (NOS)
4 k40 silent (NOS)
1 200ft k40 (NOS)

I know, NOS is probably not necessary, but its a habit of listing on eBay..

Hey, I ran into the Kodak rep this weekend at the Abingdon Fair, he saw my super8 and aproached me. Turns out he's the one who sent Justin his 64T freebies. Anyhoo, just thought I'd mention it since this is the most related topic right now.. I got his card and will be droping him a line for some pricing info on 64T...

Anyhoo, tlatosmd, sorry again about the new figures...

By estimating the price of K40 in 15m/50ft plus processing as about 15 Euros/US-Dollars, K40 Sound as about 25 Euros/Dollars, and putting the K40 silent value as the value of each single other unit, we hold a monetarian value of 14,270 Euros/Dollars!

C'mon, will we go beyond the 1,000 total Kodachrome units mark...? :o

Sorry if I bring the average down...the sad talk of no more Kodachrome from Kodak Hollywood made me run out and by the few remaining carts from my local camera store...so I have a total of five K-40 silent plus six K-40 sound in the fridge...
