Some still-pictures from our short movie sessions

Post by jukkasil »

Here are couple still-images from our Al Dente spaghetti-western short movie sessions (captured from DV-tape). The real parts have shot with Super 8, V2 200 and 500T with pressure plate and Canon 1014 XL-S camera:

I'll put more images from our other short movie called "Nut case" (DS8 Fomapan) soon in the same URL.

Will the whole movie be downloadable? I like these pictures.

Maybe I'm not enough professional in filmmaking but for the first look I can not see the difference bettween these picures and any pictures from a 35mm movie... So everything looks very good and professional.

I'm also interested in about the ds8 pictures which you have promised. Which type of camera are you using with DS8 Fomapan?

Well, of course, when we'll complete it! All films are still unprocessed, Reversal Lab is in vacation right now, so I'll probably send them to Andec.
We have shot 17 cartridges right now, still have to shoot couple parts more until we'll send them to lab/digital transfer.

Thanks. Note all of these images have captured from making of DV-material, I really hope the final Super 8 material look even better.

Canon DS 8, we shot 240 meters of Fomapan for that short movie.

Cool, is this the project you needed an Italian narrator for?

Let us know when it's finished!

Also, jukkasil, are you holding a Carena Zoomex in your avatar?

By the way, I'm waiting a Pathé DS8 that I've recently purchased on ebay, and I'm going to test some Fomapan. I hope it looks as good as your footage...

Great stuff !

Will there be a film score, similar to the ones composed by Ennio Morricone to go with it?

:D

I love the most recent still frame. What did you use for the fog?
