Yes, Kodak is giving out 64t if you ask!

Post by flyingsquirrelsnake »

About 2 or 3 weeks ago, I went on a fling and shot Kodak an email asking if I could get a cart of 64t to test out. Lo and behold, a fresh cart of 64t was waiting in the mail for me today! :D :D :D They send a lot of paperwork with all sorts of evaluation questions with it, but I suppose that is the point and I intend to help out as much as I can by diligently completing them. So, point is - if you wanna get some 64t to try out, tell them! It looks like they'll listen...

Oh, what to shoot...

I went to the website looking, but didn't find a whole lot of email contact info. I finally found something, but what email did you send it to?

Not a clue, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

From the thread you referred to:
Alex, and anyone else who has a cart, I hereby challenge you to be the first to post a clip/stills from actual S8 64T!
Sparky, you won that challenge even though you were not the first one to receive a roll of 64T! :D

Yes- shame really as I'd have liked to have seen it ages ago! The more I watch your transfers, the more I grow to like the 64T- wish I had a few more carts!

I asked for a cartridge too. Also Here is url stating that KODAK USA is discontinuing Vision 220 & 500 film in the USA.

P.S. This link works. :)

It said something about discontinuing them but at least for the 200T there was an identical (?) Vision 200T replacement available in 16mm...

What's the 'listing addition' about Tri-X double perf being added to the catalog? I thought the double perf stuff was special order only?

Don't confuse these old Vision films with the new Vision 2 200T & 500T that are currently available in S8, 16mm, and 35mm.
