What is it that you need to know- they're fairly simple in operation- I used mine yesterday so I think I remember how it works- you fold the right hand parts over to the right, leaving the upper clamp part in the up position. You put one end of film onto the little pips on the left hand side with the emulsion side up, and lower the clamp on top of it, you put the other piece of film on the right hand sides pips with the base up and lower the clamp onto it. Fold the rest of the right hand side film under the mechanism, out of the way. You run the graters gently over the ends of the film until they feel like they dont cut anymore, then you cut the ends off with the cutters (they are a bit flimsy so its best to grind the film down first). Then you apply cement to the left hand end and quickly flip the whole right hand assembly over onto the left with a snap. Wait a while (20 secs or so) then gently press the white lever to release the right hand upper clamp, wait a while more for the cement to dry and press the white lever fully to release the film from the left clamp- et voila! Try it a few times with leader first to get accustomed to it. Oh and scrape off the glue residue from the metal parts between splices with your finger nail.
Good luck,
Mark
