There was a crystal sync and power grip going about the same time too - would have been pretty nice - if I wasn't such a broke student.

of all the 8mm film cameras the canon DS8 must be one of the sweetest - I'm truely jealous - my quarz ds8 just doesn't compare - but I'm pleased you for you - hope you enjoy.
I hope that DS8 Boley went to a film maker rather than a collector - that would be too much of a waste.

Didn't they require the minimum order of USD2000 ?Konton wrote:I bought one a few months ago. It's just sitting there doing nothing. I guess I better use it! I wish I know what 400' magazine mount it had on it. I got fomapan to agree to do a run of 400' loads of DS8 for me if I can figure out how to use it.
That would be a change of heart. Or are stocking up on Fomapan R100 DS8?
Kind regards,
André

Well, 30pcs will easily be over USD 2000.Konton wrote:Yeah, but then again if I'm going by some 400' reels of Super8mm film, I might as well buy more than just 10. I think they said I needed to buy 30. Wanna go in on it with me?
I would like to opt for a few rolls of DS8 Fomapan R100 400ft.
Want to split and use it in Kaccema or 200ft modded cart
Kind regards,
André
