Hello Mark! ;)Sparky wrote:if you are just looking for something aluminium with the thread you could maybe use t-mount to m42 adapters- they are available fairly cheaply (7dayshop has them for £5.99 I think but I don't know about post to Argentina). You'd have to fill the hole with something though!
Mark
...mmmhhh ...sounds pretty good, but how big is the T-Mount hole centered into these adapter? ...Any idea?
Also, I'll need some margin in the peripheral material of the cap, to fix the tube that holds the contacts board. I'll check tomorrow if some mechanical workshop in my location can do the trick without charge them an expensive in excess amount of money by each unit.
I'm urgently needing at least two/three M42 caps, if ocurrs that anyone here has some spare ones, and want to sell them to me!

If not, I'll contact to 7dayshop!
Thanks by your suggestion! ;)

Hi Diego,
here is a pic of one from their site:

Heres the catalogue page:
http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product ... s_id=99366
I have one- its nice quality anodized aluminium. The t-mount bit is removeable via the 3 periferal grub screws so you could put a disc cap in there quite easily if you wanted. Its much cheaper than any I found on ebay!!
Good Luck!

...I'll ask a few of them to accomplish my more urgent orders here; I'll keep posted how goes all, but I guess the shipping to Argentine will take more than three weeks, sadly...
Very nice built by the way, looks really solid, and without any engraved brand name/logo to clear, as the Soligor cap that I've used in second place. Seems that once removed those tiny three screws you have the ringy thing completely clear to work. Thanks again!

Delayed...
Once again my work has been delayed by a joust and well valid excuse, since that the day 15 of this month has been born my first son; so that I am already ready to continue with the orders of BatteryPacks for Beaulieu.
I only can say: Sorry by every delay produced for every end user expecting for BatteryPacks, but this is taking a lot more time that I could have anticipated, and with every step toward finish the prototypes you discover a new little thing that needs a workaround.
Felt in this categories in example the lost box by the Greece Courier containing a few old Beaulieu original batteries from UltraMarine/Greece, that I'll need to replace with a few dummy sockets built from scratch, and this never was the idea.
I've coursed a claim order to the Argentinean Courier http://www.correoargentino.com.ar, but they said that as George does not have used a Track&Trace allowed method of shipping they can't track the sattus of the package, or even if the package was sent from destiny
My only suggestion to everybody from now is: don't use (I'll not accept those shippings) standard/flat shipping services without a Track&Trace number, and/or without insurance
In a different order of things, our baby is fine, and is a little men of about 3.500Kgs, with tons of energy that eat seas of milk! ...We are really happy!

How about my battery pack (the one you posted images from), is it shipped?
All this talk about lost packages is depressing, hope my batteries are not sent uninsured.....

I've already sent five seconds ago an eMail to your account!

...There you'll find a bunch of digital pictures of the baby
Yup, your battery pack is totally finished, and only rest to assembly the latest phase of the dummy socket that I've posted pictures above, to get the whole kit ready to go. Also, the interlock cable is ready, and the meter works perfect. Only these little thingy on the dummy socket to get all shipped way to you.
Don't worry I NEVER USE flat shipping without Track&Trace or insurance, and every time that I ship something, I pass via eMail the Track&Trace number for your own control of the date of arrival to your home.
I'll use this opportunity to tell to George (UltraMarine) that his two packs are already finished on the same state than yours, but I'm waiting the metallic caps to build his dummy sockets.
I've never shipped a package not arrived to destiny, and if such thing could happen at some point, you can use the insurance number to claim by the declared value recovering every cent of your money.
Don't worry; I don't want troubles, I'm working on that just by hobby, and firstly this is the reason because I have limited resources of time to spend on this whole thing, but all is safe. ;)

BatteryPacks
Well, I think that "UltraMarine", "UppsalaBildTeknik", and anyone else interested on my battery packs for Beaulieu cameras must read the following post of mine:
viewtopic.php?p=92928#92928
I'll be shipping on next week a battery pack for Kent Kumpula, and as soon can put my hands on the caps that I've ordered two weeks ago to arrange the dummy sockets for George Patoulidis, I'll ship his battery pack too.
Best regards! ;)
Diego

The News...
Good day all;
....seems that passed long time since my latest post here. Well, I must accept that against all my guesses, life changes a lot after you bring a child to the world
No more spare time to spend on hobbies, and now everything is family and my main work. On purpose of that, I must say that I really sorry because I have not enough time to reply properly to people asking how to build their own Beaulieu battery packs, but simply, I have not enough time to attend all.
To everyone interested to buy my battery packs, I must say that I can't offer the whole solution anymore, since the time needed to build it probed to be a lot greater than the money that I could charge for such work; then I can substract such time to my payd work anymore, and I have almost null spare time.
The worst part of the assembly is by far the dummy socket, and I won't to pass by the experience of build myself one of thoses anymore... is a really nasty job, that demmands a lot of time and can't be compensated by a few dollars that I could charge by them.
I'll only have at some point a few BatteryPacks for sale up to finish the little stock that now holds on my shelfs, but I'll not start new orders to build dummy sockets of any kind. The stuff needed to build it probed to be expensive, and they need a lot of hand crafted work that I can't do anymore. Only a few of thoses plastic houses that you can see here, with battery holders, meter, and connections for the cable interlock is what I'll sell if I have the time to put all the pieces along to assembly them; or if anyone is interested, to sell them as Do-It-Yourself kit by really cheap.
My Beaulieu 4008 ZM II and Kavena TL4 are for sale too, and I could like to arrange a whole packet, to sell all the bunch together...
mmmhhh.. I guess I can't sustain such kind of assembly line for only a few battery pack on a year...

BatteryPacks
Good night all! ;)
...Well, after a lot of work here in my office, I've finished the order for BatteryPacks from "UltraMarine"; so, good news for you, George! ...Your BP's will be sent tomorrow by morning! ;)
Since I've managed here my job to use some time for this matters, the order from "UppsalaBildTeknik" will follow. So, Kent will have his order also shipped on next days.
Thanks by the long waiting, guys! ;)
Best regards,
Diego
