Anyway, while I'm waiting, I was wondering if anyone can tell me the purpose of a lever on the side of it. It's located beside the handle for winding up the motor. If you slide it back, it reveals the numbers 0, 1, 2, 0. Its proximity (indeed, attachment) to the frame-rate selector suggests the two are connected in some way. It could be for shutter speed, although the exposure meter doesn't seem to move to compensate when I change from one number setting to another. It's probably something rather self-kickingly obvious .
Here are some pictures:
Also, is it alright to use a 1.3 volt battery (for the light meter) when the specification is 1.35? The battery I'm using is also smaller than the compartment it's supposed to fit, but it seems alright.
Regarding the notorious thickness of Fomapan film, would it help if I ran the film through the camera with the lens covered first to loosen it, or would this make a difference? It seemed to handle it fine when I did, anyway.
Any help appreciated.
