Nizo 801 macro question

Post by tiagoncalves »

Hi!
Yesterday I was shooting a very short animation (frame by frame) with an electric cable made by me. Everything was going fine until the camera start making a strange noise, like a ring bell. So, I open up the machine and press the shutter again to see what happens. And, when I press the trigger, the pieces of metal marked by blue in the picture make contact but the motor doesn't run (but the zoom motor runs). The top piece of metal also makes contact with the thing marked with red (don't know what it is) and that makes the noise. Looks like an iman that repels it. Can someone help me? Could it be the motor or just a problem of connection, maybe in the trigger? Thank you! Tiago

Yours as the same disease as mine caught. Now it only works using the cable release; trigger dead. Doesn't bother me that much at the moment...

What happens when you push the white block located on the right of the lower blue arrow to the left?

Well, my machine doesn't even work with the cable. Just make that sound.
When I push the white block to the left nothing happens, even with the camera turned on. Not even the sound. It was the first thing I tried. When I press the trigger, these pieces of metal moves, right? Well, this movement is mechanical or electrical? If this movement is mechanical, can the problem be an electrical connection? Thanks for your replies!!!
