I think it's really great you're trying to get the EXR50D made for S8. For professional applications, a 50-speed negative film for S8 would hit the spot. I'd also really like to see the K40A for the Supermag, as that stock is my staple for home movies and I wouldn't replace it for anything. Or is Kodak no longer considering making K40A for you? Another thing that scares me is that Kodak seems intent on driving people up to 16mm, which is why they haven't made EXR-50D, the perfect stock for S8, available themselves, so they might not even consider making it for you (I hope I'm wrong). Anyway, I have a definite application for these two films. The Kodachrome I will use for home movies along with doing exposure tests for my short film that I'm making on K40A 16mm, and the EXR-50D will probably be the film I'll be using for a lot of my film projects in the future.
