Canon 814e - Help Please!

Post by ALL_MOD_CONS »

:D

Just purchased a Canon 814e!

Great camera, but I have no instruction manual!

All the knobs etc seems to turn, and the Motor runs nicely!

The question is - the light meter! Do I need separate cells for this or is it powered by the pen light batteries in the handle?

If so, how do I activate it???

Please help! Can't wait to get shooting!

Thanks!

hello there!

If it's the OLD 814 autozoom, you'll need separate cells. Is there a big, black screw on the side of the camera? This is the place to put them (2x 1.35 PX625 if I am not mistaking)

The 814 Electronic won't be needing these cells. Check the above link 'Manuals' to download the manual of these camera's.

Keep 16mm, 8mm, Kodak, Fomapan, Nizo's, Canons, Beaulieu's, Minolta's, etc. alive :)!

make sure the manual exposure knob is in. left side, bottom left. pull it out for manual.
