I would like to buy a 16 mm sound projector. I just bought from Derann some old favourite TV shows (Hawaii 5-o, Mission impossible etc) which I would like to screen from time to time. I had a look in Ebay.de, com & co.uk and the prices varied so much. I searched for Bell& Hoell, Elmo and Eiki projectors. I just need a good working sound projector, with at least 2000' reel capability, from an EEC country (in order not to pay taxes). Any suggestion where to look for and what price to pay? For some reason, I think that some 16 mm projectors are cheaper now than s8. Is that true?

I can recommend the Elmo 16-CL because I have one. It's only drawback as far as I'm concerned is that only runs at 24fps. It would be nice if it had 16fps too.
It has two sets of pulleys inside. I suspect the motor is a sync motor and if you changed the belt to the other pulleys you would get 25fps in a 50Hz country.
