About 2 weeks ago I received my first processed roll of Kodachrome 40 Regular 8mm movie film.
Its SPECTACULAR! I finally have Kodachrome 40 for my little Brownie, I shot the roll half on a Brownie titler/inside and half of my dog outside.
It's nice to be able to go back and forth now with Regular 8mm like I can with Super 8.
Cheers,
Jordan
How many have shot some Kodachrome 40 regular 8mm?
Forgot to say something about this,

Forgot to say something about this,
I'm back, I'm back- thebrowniecameraguy is back! I still have my Brownie 8mm Turret f/1.9! Time to play!
I think it was K-40
I had a Keystone with a three "lens" turret. I decided to shoot with it. The first half on my run looked okay, but the secone half was completely out of focus. I was testing the different "lenses." I had seen enough to convince me that the optics left a great deal to be desired on this camera.
this was in 1991. does that mean that it wasn't k-40?

The focal ranges on all fixed focus(Any non adjustable lens) is usually 5'-Infinity.
So, if you were closer than 5 feet and didnt compensate in some way, then yes it would be out of focus.
But, I have had some trouble with film where it was out of focus do to insufficent light.
If your shots were indoors, then you probably bought a roll of Kodachrome 40.

I remember editing 60 year old home movies that had been transferred to video. They were shot with what I think was a turret lens also and one of the lense looked like it was always out of focus!
It was one of the medium telephoto lenses. It seems everytime the camera lens turret was in that position the subjects had to be at least 15 feet away or more or they would be out of focus.
Otherwise the other images were nice.
