The DVD. http://www.cleancutfilms.ca/ How did you master it? Did you do it yourself or did somebody compress it for you? Workflow comes up on this forum all the time. Many of us are still trying to dial-in the best workflow for Super 8.

Did you go from DigiBeta to DVD or did you go from DV to DVD?

Cheers,

Steve
I just went from DV to DVD...well actually the final export never touched a tape. I just compressed the entire thing using compressor (Mac) and Dolby A.Pack. Then used After effects and DVD studio pro for all the menus and walla! After a million tests, 2 weeks later, I have a thousand dollars saved!

All the stills are K40 yes. I'll get a timelapse shot without the reciprocity effect up soon...Thanks for checking out my stuff guys!

Tam,

Sounds like a smart way to fly. I'll buy a copy and check it out. Does Bill Heath have any beta decks at his workshop there in Nelson?

...just curious. I'm wondering what kind of post production resources are available in Nelson and he seems like the kind of guy that would offer discounts to 'local yokel' film makers...who knows?

good luck,

Steve
