i just did a quick check around, no plus-x. very weird because i saw some at vanbar a couple of months ago.
i will phone film plus on tuesday to find out if they could process vision stock.
if they can, put me down for two for certain, four maybe.
if processing is overseas, definitely just two. depending on all up costs.
just a thought, if super8 sound in the states sell vision stock, why not order through them and get some of their cut down stock as well?
any thoughts?
actually i just had a look, they sell cut down vision 200t and 500t, at $35 per film including processing, would they be a good alternative?
Super 8 in Australia...

I'm not too sure about Super8 Sound - I think their reputation regarding quality of work and customer service isn't that flash - There are plenty of alternatives in the US.
Here's what others said: viewtopic.php?t=8034&highlight=pro8
Also, it'd be convenient to get the film processed and telecine'd at the same establishment - And going by viewtopic.php?t=8857, Super8 Sound don't seem to cut it telecine wise.
So who else wants some Vision2 to try out? I'm buying 10 cartridges already, so we only need another 10 to make an order.

Hi guys
We would love to try some of the negative stocks aswell ....we shot some negative 200asa film (which we bought years ago from Rodney burke) We had it processed at film plus and they didn't have a problem processing negative.(probably in 98-99) The footage looked a bit blue as I remember. But it worked!
Done know if any of you guys are interested but me and my partner are big super8 fans. We shot 5 short films of our own entirely in super8....... we are also a video production company called Mulesfilm. We are in Brisbane. We love transfering super8. So if you don't want to get involved in transfering your own super8 we can do it and results look great. If you are in Brissy you can come and over see us transfering your film. If you want to send a test to see how our transfer looks...we would be happy to transfer it for free. We normally charge $15 per roll for transfer but we can pretty much do it for any budget. We use a canon xm2 dv camera and sony film chain adaptor. We can transfer from 1fps-25fps. Totally flicker free. And in real time. We also colour correct.
Sorry to plug our company but thought we might be able to help someone local out.
We are also interested in shooting some more negative stock so count us in for 2 rolls of 200asa and 2rolls 500asa for your group buy.
Thanks
Miles

Hey guys I've got some friends here in Brissy that might be interested - I'll pass on their details - they've shot a short in Super 8 and they need to get a flicker free transfer - they've done an off the wall one for rough editing
