TVT-S8 Test

Post by Super8freakazoid24 »

Ok,
I just got my TVT-S8 test back today. I have to say I was impressed. Clive does some wonderful work. Anyway, it may not look that great because of the compression. I had some trouble with quicktime but anyway, check it out:

looks pretty nice (as far as one can tell from online clips anyway).
it seems to have pulldown to 29.97fps applied.. did you do that yourself or was that already done during transfer?
i could imagine that's quite a bonus those in NTSC land that want a transfer for TV screenings.

I think the pulldown was done by the machine. I should also mention that the lines you see on the images are probably from my camera. Come to think of it, could it be in the fault of processing? The processing was done by Pro8mm, it was for a school project and our school has a deal with them.
